Planting Tips

Plant in moist, well-drained, slightly acidic soil. Space 3–5 feet apart. Water thoroughly after planting and mulch 2–3 inches deep.

Care Tips

Water deeply and regularly the first 2–3 seasons; once established it is moderately drought tolerant. True Blue has exceptionally vivid, steel-blue foliage- among the most intensely blue of any false cypress selection. The naturally neat, mounding to broadly conical form requires essentially no pruning. Fertilize lightly in spring. Monitor for spider mites in hot, dry conditions. The vivid blue foliage provides striking year-round color contrast in mixed plantings. Largely otherwise pest-free.
