Coastal Little Bluestem is a hardy grass with striking blue-green foliage that turns a beautiful coppery-red in the fall. It thrives in sandy soils and coastal areas, providing excellent erosion control. Its fluffy seed heads add texture and interest to any landscape.

Plant Coastal Little Bluestem in well-drained soil with full sun exposure. Space plants 18-24 inches apart. Water regularly until established, then reduce frequency as the plant is drought-tolerant. Avoid overwatering. Fertilize lightly in early spring if needed. Cut back old growth to 2-3 inches above the ground in late winter or early spring to encourage new growth.
