Planting Tips

Plant in spring or fall, spacing 3–4 feet apart in fertile, well-drained soil. Dig a generous planting hole, amend with compost, and water deeply. Apply mulch and select a site with good air movement. Imogen is a compact, bushy English rose that performs reliably and has notably good disease resistance compared to many other varieties.

Care Tips

Prune in early spring, removing dead wood and reducing healthy canes by about one-third. Deadhead consistently throughout the season for continuous bloom. Fertilize monthly from spring through late summer. Imogen produces soft yellow blooms that fade to cream at the edges, with a pleasant fragrance. Its compact habit and excellent disease resistance make it a very manageable and rewarding garden rose.
