Planting Tips

Plant in spring or fall, spacing 3–4 feet apart in fertile, well-drained soil. Dig a wide planting hole, amend with compost, and water deeply. Apply mulch and choose a spot with good air circulation. Molineux is a compact, well-behaved English rose with excellent disease resistance that makes it a very manageable garden plant.

Care Tips

Prune in early spring, removing dead wood and reducing healthy canes by about one-third. Deadhead throughout the season to encourage the continuous blooming this variety delivers reliably. Fertilize monthly from spring through late summer. Molineux produces rich, golden-yellow rosette blooms with a strong, tea-rose fragrance — a wonderful yellow-flowered English rose with unusually good disease resistance for its color class.
