Planting Tips

Plant in well-drained to dry, lean soil. Space 12–18 inches apart. Water thoroughly after planting. Excellent drainage is the single most important site requirement.

Care Tips

Water consistently the first season to help roots establish; once established, this plant is highly drought tolerant and prefers drier conditions. Avoid overwatering or planting in areas where water collects. No fertilization needed. Trim lightly in early spring to remove any winter damage and tidy the planting. Largely pest-free. An excellent, low-maintenance groundcover for hot, dry, sunny locations where drainage is reliable.
