Planting Tips

Plant in spring in fertile, well-drained, compost-enriched soil. Space 12–18 inches apart. Water thoroughly after planting. This compact, branching type generally does not require staking.

Care Tips

Water deeply and consistently throughout the season- delphiniums need reliable moisture to perform well. Deadhead regularly to extend bloom. Cut back after the main flowering to encourage rebloom in cooler weather. Feed with a balanced fertilizer through the growing season. Monitor for slugs on young plants and powdery mildew in late summer. Cut to the ground in late fall.
