Planting Tips

Plant in average, well-drained soil. Space 4–5 feet apart. Water thoroughly after planting and mulch lightly.

Care Tips

Water regularly after planting; once established it is quite drought tolerant and adaptable. Prune out one-third of the oldest canes at the base each spring. Fertilize lightly in spring. The vivid, rich orange tubular flowers attract hummingbirds. Kodiak® Orange has particularly striking, saturated orange flower color- bolder than most other bush honeysuckle selections. The berries provide food for birds in fall. Largely pest-free and deer resistant.
