Leonardo® Leopard's Bane is a striking perennial plant known for its vibrant yellow, daisy-like flowers that bring a cheerful presence to any garden or landscape. This plant belongs to a group of flowering perennials celebrated for their early spring blooms and their ability to thrive in cooler climates. The flowers are characterized by their bright, sunny petals surrounding a central disc, creating a classic and eye-catching appearance.

The foliage of this plant consists of heart-shaped, deep green leaves that provide an attractive backdrop to its vivid blooms. Typically reaching a height of 12 to 18 inches, Leonardo® Leopard's Bane forms neat, compact clumps that make it an excellent choice for borders, rock gardens, or as a ground cover in shaded areas. Its early flowering period offers a welcome burst of color after the winter months, often attracting pollinators such as bees and butterflies to the garden.

For Doronicum orientale 'Leonardo', plant in a location with partial shade, ideally with morning sunlight. Use nutrient-rich, well-draining soil to support healthy growth. Keep the soil consistently moist, watering regularly during dry periods. Remove faded flowers to extend blooming and enhance plant vitality. Trim back foliage in late autumn to prepare for the dormant season.
