Planting Tips

Plant in moist, well-drained, acidic soil (pH 4.5–6.0) with generous organic matter. Space 3–4 feet apart. Water thoroughly after planting and mulch 2–3 inches deep, keeping mulch away from the crown.

Care Tips

Water deeply and consistently throughout the growing season. Prune lightly immediately after flowering to preserve next year's flower buds. Fertilize in spring with an acid azalea fertilizer. Monitor for lace bugs on the undersides of leaves in summer. Electric Lights Double Pink produces brilliant, fully double, vivid pink flowers that are exceptionally long-lasting on the plant- the electric, glowing color is stunning in the spring landscape. Largely pest-free when sited with acidic, well-drained soil.
