Fignomenal Fig

Plant in well-drained, fertile soil amended with compost. Dig a hole twice as wide as the root ball. Space 4–6 feet apart for container or in-ground use. Water thoroughly after planting and mulch generously around the base.

Water deeply and regularly, especially during fruit development. Once established it tolerates moderate drought but fruits best with consistent moisture. In colder climates, this compact variety is well suited to container culture and can be overwintered indoors in a cool, frost-free location. Prune in late winter to remove dead wood and shape. Fertilize lightly in spring- avoid excess nitrogen. The compact size makes this an especially practical fig for smaller gardens and patios.
