Planting Tips

Plant in average, well-drained soil. Space 18–24 inches apart. Water thoroughly after planting and mulch lightly around the base.

Care Tips

Water regularly after planting; once established it tolerates moderate drought. After the main flush of bloom in early summer, cut the entire plant back by half to two-thirds- this removes spent stems and encourages a fresh mound of foliage and often a second flush of flowers in late summer. Cut to the ground in late fall. Divide every 3–4 years in spring. Largely pest-free and deer resistant. A classic, reliable perennial geranium with long-blooming, true-blue flowers.
