Planting Tips

Plant in moist, well-drained soil amended with compost. Space 18–24 inches apart. Water thoroughly after planting and mulch lightly around the base.

Care Tips

Water regularly, especially during dry spells and the bloom period. Deadhead spent flowers daily for the neatest appearance, though this is not required for health. Remove old flower scapes after all buds have opened and finished. Divide clumps every 3–4 years in spring or fall when bloom quality declines or clumps become overcrowded.
