Planting Tips

Plant in spring or fall in moist, well-drained soil amended with compost. Space 18–24 inches apart. Water thoroughly after planting and mulch 2–3 inches deep.

Care Tips

Water regularly and consistently throughout the season. Lift and divide every 3–4 years in spring, discarding woody crown sections. Remove dead or tattered foliage in early spring before new growth emerges. Watch for vine weevil, though problems are generally minor.
