Planting Tips

Plant in moist, well-drained, humus-rich soil. Space 24–36 inches apart. Water thoroughly after planting and mulch 2–3 inches deep.

Care Tips

Water consistently throughout the season. Monitor for slugs and snails. Cut back all foliage in late fall after frost. Divide every 4–5 years in spring if desired. Fertilize lightly in spring. Hudson Bay has large, heavily textured, blue-green foliage with wide, creamy margins- a substantial, well-formed hosta with good leaf substance and texture. The bold variegation pattern and excellent seasonal color make this a reliable, long-season performer in the shade garden.
