Planting Tips

Plant in moist, well-drained, slightly acidic soil. Space 4–5 feet apart. Water thoroughly after planting and mulch 2–3 inches deep.

Care Tips

Water consistently, especially during the first season and summer dry spells. Oakleaf hydrangea blooms on old wood- prune lightly only immediately after flowering to remove spent blooms. Avoid heavy pruning in fall or spring which removes next year's flower buds. Fertilize lightly in spring with an acid fertilizer. A compact oakleaf hydrangea selection that fits smaller spaces while still delivering the full ornamental package- white flowers, peeling bark, and brilliant fall color. Largely pest-free.
