Planting Tips

Plant in moist, well-drained soil. Space 3–5 feet apart. Water thoroughly after planting and mulch 2–3 inches deep.

Care Tips

Water deeply and consistently throughout the season. Smooth hydrangeas bloom on new wood — cut back to 12–18 inches from the ground in late winter or early spring. Fertilize in spring with a balanced slow-release fertilizer. Invincibelle® Spirit was the first pink-flowered smooth hydrangea ever introduced — a landmark introduction. A portion of proceeds from each plant sold supports breast cancer research. The vivid, rosy-pink flower heads are produced in abundance on strong, upright stems that hold the blooms upright without flopping. Largely pest-free.
