Shamrock Inkberry

Plant in moist, well-drained to wet, acidic to average soil. Space 3–4 feet apart. Water thoroughly after planting and mulch lightly.

Water consistently after planting; once established it is highly adaptable to wet, moist, and average soils. Plant both male and female plants for berry production- or plant with other inkberry varieties for cross-pollination. Prune out the oldest stems annually in early spring to encourage vigorous new growth. Fertilize lightly in spring. Shamrock is a compact, dense, well-rounded inkberry selection with a naturally tidy form requiring minimal pruning. The glossy black berries are outstanding for birds. Largely pest- and disease-free.
