Planting Tips

Plant in average, well-drained soil. Space 6–8 feet apart. Water thoroughly after planting and mulch lightly.

Care Tips

Water regularly after planting; once established it is quite drought tolerant. Prune out one-third of the oldest canes at the base immediately after flowering- beauty bush blooms on old wood. Without annual thinning, plants become congested and flower production declines. Fertilize lightly in spring. Jolene Jolene® has an unusually dense, well-branched habit compared to standard beauty bush. The cascading, pale pink tubular flowers in late spring are produced in remarkable abundance, covering the arching branches. Largely pest-free and deer resistant.
