Plant the Julia Rose Itoh Peony in well-drained, fertile soil with full sun to partial shade. Space plants about 3 feet apart. Water regularly, keeping the soil consistently moist but not waterlogged. Fertilize in early spring with a balanced fertilizer. Deadhead spent blooms to encourage more flowers.
