Planting Tips

Plant in average to lean, well-drained soil. Space 4–6 feet apart. Water thoroughly after planting and mulch lightly around the base.

Care Tips

Water regularly after planting; once established junipers are highly drought tolerant and require very little supplemental watering. Little to no pruning is needed to maintain the natural columnar form. If light shaping is desired, trim in early spring- avoid cutting back into bare, brown wood. No fertilization is generally needed. Largely pest- and disease-free. An excellent, low-maintenance evergreen for screening, windbreaks, and vertical accents in the landscape.
