Gibraltar Bush Clover

Plant in average to lean, well-drained soil. Space 4–6 feet apart. Water thoroughly after planting and mulch lightly. Bush clover blooms on new wood- choose a permanent, sunny location.

Water regularly after planting; once established it is highly drought tolerant. Cut back hard to 6–8 inches from the ground in early spring before new growth begins- this is essential as it blooms on new wood. Without hard pruning the plant becomes woody and bloom quality declines. Fertilize lightly in spring. Gibraltar produces vivid, rose-pink flower clusters on long, arching stems from late summer into fall- a spectacular late-season display when few other shrubs are blooming. Largely pest-free and deer resistant.
