Planting Tips

Plant in moist, well-drained soil. Space 18–24 inches apart. Water thoroughly after planting and mulch lightly. Good air circulation reduces powdery mildew pressure.

Care Tips

Water regularly throughout the growing season. Deadhead spent flowers for continued bloom. Cut to the ground in late fall or early spring. Divide every 2–3 years in spring. Monitor for powdery mildew- Jacob Cline has excellent mildew resistance. The vivid, brilliant scarlet-red flowers are produced in abundance over a long season on tall, sturdy stems. One of the most vivid red bee balms available. Outstanding for hummingbirds and butterflies. A reliable, mildew-resistant native perennial.
