Leading Lady Plum Bee Balm

Plant in moist, well-drained soil. Space 18–24 inches apart. Water thoroughly after planting and mulch lightly. Good air circulation reduces powdery mildew pressure.

Water regularly throughout the growing season. Deadhead spent flowers for continued bloom. Cut to the ground in late fall or early spring. Divide every 2–3 years in spring to maintain vigor and control spread. Monitor for powdery mildew — Leading Lady series has improved mildew resistance. Plum produces rich, deep plum-purple flowers over a long season — a particularly bold, jewel-toned color outstanding for hummingbirds and butterflies. A compact, well-behaved bee balm for smaller gardens and borders. Largely otherwise pest-free.
