Planting Tips

Plant in moist, well-drained soil. Space 18–24 inches apart. Water thoroughly after planting and mulch lightly. Good air circulation reduces powdery mildew pressure.

Care Tips

Water regularly throughout the growing season. Deadhead spent flowers for continued bloom. Cut to the ground in late fall or early spring. Divide every 2–3 years in spring to maintain vigor and control spread. Monitor for powdery mildew — Leading Lady series has improved mildew resistance. The soft, warm pink flowers are produced over a long season and are outstanding for hummingbirds and butterflies. A compact, well-behaved bee balm ideal for smaller gardens and front-of-border placements. Largely otherwise pest-free.
