Six Hills Giant Catmint

Plant in average to lean, well-drained soil. Space 24–36 inches apart- this is a large, vigorous catmint. Water thoroughly after planting. Lean soil and good drainage produce the best, most compact growth.

Water regularly after planting; once established it is highly drought tolerant. After the first big flush of lavender-blue flowers in late spring, cut the entire plant back by half to two-thirds- this keeps the plant tidy and compact and triggers a strong second flush of bloom in late summer. Without this cutback, plants tend to sprawl and flop. Cut to the ground in late fall. Divide every 3–4 years in spring. Deer resistant, largely pest-free, and irresistible to bees.
