Planting Tips

Plant with the eyes no more than 1–2 inches below the soil surface in fertile, well-drained soil amended with compost. Choose a permanent location. Space 3–4 feet apart. Water thoroughly after planting.

Care Tips

Water regularly during spring growth and bloom. Stake large double flower heads before they become top-heavy after rain. Remove all foliage in late fall to reduce disease. Allow foliage to die back naturally before removing. Fertilize lightly in spring and after flowering. One of the most famous and widely grown peonies in the world- the large, soft pink double flowers have an exquisite rose-like fragrance. Peonies are very long-lived and improve dramatically with each passing year.
