Opening Act® Pink-a-Dot Garden Phlox

Plant in moist, well-drained soil. Space 18–24 inches apart. Water thoroughly after planting and mulch lightly. Good air circulation is important for mildew prevention.

Water regularly throughout the growing season. Deadhead spent flower clusters to extend bloom. Cut to the ground in late fall or early spring. Divide every 3–4 years in spring. Monitor for powdery mildew. Fertilize lightly in spring. Opening Act® blooms weeks earlier than standard garden phlox. Pink-a-Dot produces vivid pink flowers with a contrasting darker pink eye or dot at the center — a playful, cheerful bi-color combination. Highly attractive to butterflies and hummingbirds over an extended early-to-midsummer season.
