Panther® Ninebark

Plant in average, well-drained soil. Highly adaptable to clay, sandy, and poor soils. Space 5–6 feet apart. Water thoroughly after planting and mulch lightly.

Water regularly after planting; once established it is quite drought tolerant and very adaptable. Prune out one-third of the oldest canes at the base in early spring to encourage vigorous new growth with the best foliage color. Fertilize lightly in spring if desired. Largely pest- and disease-free. The very dark, nearly black foliage of Panther® is among the deepest and most dramatic of all ninebark selections, providing exceptional contrast in the mixed border. White flowers and attractive seed capsules follow.
