Planting Tips

Plant in moist, well-drained, humus-rich soil. Space 18–24 inches apart. Water thoroughly after planting and mulch 2–3 inches deep.

Care Tips

Water consistently throughout the season in partial to full shade. Cut back previous year's foliage in late winter. Divide every 4–5 years in late summer. Fertilize lightly in spring. Pippa's Purple produces rich, deep purple flowers with a velvety depth of color that is exceptional among lenten roses. The purple tones are vivid and jewel-like in late winter and early spring when little else is blooming. Largely deer resistant and pest-free.
