Planting Tips

Plant in moist, well-drained soil. Space 18–24 inches apart. Water thoroughly after planting.

Care Tips

Water regularly after planting; once established it tolerates moderate drought. The frothy, pin-cushion-like white flower clusters in early summer have a delicate, airy quality. Cut back after flowering to tidy the plant. Cut to the ground in late fall or early spring. Divide every 4–5 years in spring. Largely pest-free and deer resistant. A refined native perennial that brings a fine-textured, naturalistic character to the sunny or partly shaded border. Excellent for pollinators.
