Prairie Winds® Brush Stroke Little Bluestem is a stunning ornamental grass with striking blue-green foliage that turns a vibrant mix of orange, red, and purple in the fall. Its upright, clump-forming habit adds texture and movement to any garden, while its feathery seed heads provide interest through winter.

Plant Prairie Winds® Brush Stroke Little Bluestem in well-drained soil with full sun exposure. Space plants about 18-24 inches apart. Water regularly during the first growing season to establish a deep root system, then reduce frequency as the plant becomes drought-tolerant. Avoid overwatering. Fertilize lightly in early spring if necessary. Cut back old foliage to about 2-3 inches above the ground in late winter or early spring before new growth begins.
