Blue Baron Rhododendron

Plant in spring in acidic, moist, well-drained soil with afternoon shade protection. Blue Baron is a compact rhododendron with deep blue-violet flowers — among the most intensely blue-toned in the rhododendron family. Amend soil with peat or acidic compost if needed. Set root ball at or just above grade, mulch 3–4 inches deep, and water well.
