Planting Tips

Plant in moist, well-drained, acidic soil (pH 4.5–6.0) with generous organic matter. Space 3–4 feet apart. Water thoroughly after planting and mulch 2–3 inches deep, keeping mulch away from the crown.

Care Tips

Water deeply and consistently throughout the growing season. Prune lightly immediately after flowering. Fertilize in spring with an acid rhododendron fertilizer. Bloombux® is a compact, mounded rhododendron with a very dense, uniform, boxwood-like form exceptionally well-suited for formal edging and foundation plantings. The soft blush-pink flowers are produced in spring on an unusually tidy, rounded plant. Monitor for lace bugs. Largely otherwise pest-free.
