Rise Up Emberays carries glowing orange and yellow flowers on a climber that reaches 3 to 5 feet rather than the ten or twelve a full-size climbing rose needs. Rosa 'Bozfra321' spreads 2 to 3 feet in full sun, hardy from Zone 5 through Zone 8.
Bloom repeats from early summer to frost, and the two-toned color reads warm from a distance.
At this size it fits an obelisk, a mailbox post, a fence panel, or a small trellis by a door, and it can also be grown untrained as an upright shrub.
Disease resistance is good for a climber, so the foliage holds through humid summers without an intensive spray program. Tie the canes to the support as they grow rather than waiting until they stiffen. Shipped on its own roots.
