Planting Tips

Plant in spring or fall in fertile, well-drained soil, spacing 24–30 inches apart. Chrysler Imperial is a classic, award-winning hybrid tea rose with deep, velvety crimson-red flowers and an extraordinarily powerful, classic rose fragrance. Dig a wide planting hole, amend with compost, and water deeply. Apply mulch. Choose a site with full sun and excellent air circulation.

Care Tips

Prune in early spring, removing dead wood and reducing canes by about one-third. Deadhead spent blooms for continuous flowering. Fertilize every four to six weeks from spring through late summer. Water consistently at the base to keep foliage dry. One of the most fragrant hybrid tea roses ever bred — the powerful, classic rose scent is extraordinary. The velvety red flowers are outstanding for cutting and exhibition. A true rose classic.
