Deep yellow flowers with 18 to 20 petals that hold their color through the intense heat of summer, where most yellow roses bleach to cream. Rosa 'Meianycid', sold as Gilded Sun™, PP 27,894, grows up to 5 feet tall in full sun, hardy from Zone 6 through Zone 9.
Non-fading yellow is genuinely hard to breed, and it is the reason to choose this one over the many yellow roses that wash out by July.
The foliage is dark green and very glossy, which sets off the flower color, and the habit is upright and very bushy.
