Planting Tips

Plant in well-drained, fertile soil. Dig a hole twice as wide as the root ball. Space 3–4 feet apart. Water thoroughly after planting and mulch 2–3 inches deep, keeping mulch away from the canes.

Care Tips

Water deeply and consistently throughout the season. Deadhead spent blooms for continuous flowering. Prune in early spring to remove dead or weak canes. Fertilize with a rose fertilizer in spring and after each bloom flush. Good disease resistance. The large, cupped, warm peach-apricot flowers are beautifully formed and carry a pleasant tea-rose fragrance. Roald Dahl is a vigorous, healthy English rose with reliable repeat-blooming and outstanding overall disease resistance for its class.
