Planting Tips

Plant in moist, well-drained to average soil. Space 4–5 feet apart. Water thoroughly after planting and mulch lightly.

Care Tips

Water consistently after planting; once established it is quite adaptable. Cut back by one-third in early spring to encourage vigorous new growth with vivid foliage. Fertilize lightly in spring. Instant Karma® is a compact elderberry with spectacular variegated foliage- the leaves are marked with creamy-white to yellow margins against deep green or purple-tinted centers. Flat, creamy-white flower clusters and dark berries add further interest. Largely pest-free.
