Planting Tips

Plant in moist, well-drained, slightly acidic soil. Provide a sturdy support structure. Space 6–10 feet apart. Water thoroughly after planting and mulch 2–3 inches deep.

Water deeply and consistently. False hydrangea vine is slow to establish- do not be discouraged by minimal growth the first 2–3 seasons. Once established it grows vigorously. Blooms on old wood- prune lightly only after flowering. Fertilize lightly in spring. Rose Sensation® produces attractive rose-pink flower clusters with the characteristic lace-cap form. The cinnamon-peeling bark provides winter interest. A refined, long-lived climber for shaded walls and structures.
