Plant in moist, well-drained, slightly acidic soil. Provide a sturdy support structure. Space 6–10 feet apart. Water thoroughly after planting and mulch 2–3 inches deep.

Blooms on old wood- prune lightly only after flowering. Fertilize lightly in spring. Flirty Girl® has a more compact, manageable habit than standard climbing hydrangea with abundant flower clusters and appealing peeling bark in winter.
