Bright yellow, four-petaled flowers bloom in spring over lobed, blue-green foliage. This native perennial goes dormant in summer but thrives in damp, shady conditions.

Plant Celandine Poppy in partial to full shade with well-drained, rich, moist soil. Space plants about 12-18 inches apart. Water regularly to maintain consistent soil moisture, especially during dry periods. Fertilize lightly in early spring with a balanced fertilizer. Remove spent flowers to encourage more blooms and cut back foliage after flowering to promote new growth. Divide clumps every few years in early spring or fall to maintain vigor.
