Bloomerang® Dark Purple Lilac

Plant in moist, well-drained, slightly alkaline to neutral soil. Space 4–6 feet apart. Water thoroughly after planting and mulch lightly.

Water deeply and regularly the first two seasons; moderately drought tolerant once established. Bloomerang® lilacs bloom on old wood in spring and then rebloom on new growth in summer and fall- the only lilacs to rebloom reliably. Prune lightly after the spring bloom if needed to shape. Fertilize lightly in early spring. Dark Purple produces intensely fragrant, deep purple-violet clusters in spring and again from summer through fall. Remove spent blooms during the rebloom period to encourage continued flowering. Largely pest-free.
