Planting Tips

Plant in moist, well-drained, slightly alkaline to neutral soil. Space 6–8 feet apart. Water thoroughly after planting and mulch lightly.

Care Tips

Water deeply and regularly the first two seasons; moderately drought tolerant once established. Prune immediately after flowering- lilacs bloom on old wood. Remove spent flower clusters promptly. Remove any suckers from the base. Fertilize lightly in early spring. Scentara® Double Blue produces fully double, fragrant blue-lilac flowers with an exceptionally rich, classic lilac fragrance.
