Cutting Edge Foamflower

Plant in moist, well-drained, humus-rich soil. Space 12–15 inches apart. Water thoroughly after planting and mulch to retain moisture.

Water consistently throughout the season- foamflower prefers reliably moist conditions in cool, shaded settings. The plant spreads by stolons to form a naturalistic groundcover. Divide in spring to control spread or propagate. Cut back spent flower spikes to tidy the planting. No fertilization generally needed. Largely pest-free and deer resistant. Cutting Edge has deeply dissected, jagged-edged foliage that is more dramatically cut than typical foamflower. The white flower spikes in spring are delightful. An excellent native groundcover for shaded areas.
