Autumn Jazz® Viburnum

Plant in spring or fall in moist, well-drained soil, spacing 6–8 feet apart. Autumn Jazz is an arrowwood viburnum with creamy white flower clusters in spring, deep blue berries in fall, and exceptional multi-colored fall foliage in shades of red, orange, yellow, and burgundy — one of the finest native shrubs for fall color. It adapts to a range of soils including clay. Dig a generous planting hole and water well.

Minimal pruning is needed. Remove dead wood in early spring. The creamy white spring flowers are followed by blue-black berries that birds love. Fall foliage color is outstanding and long-lasting. Very cold-hardy and adaptable. No regular fertilizing needed. Autumn Jazz is one of the best native viburnums for three-season interest and provides excellent wildlife value. An outstanding, low-maintenance native shrub for mixed borders and naturalized areas.
