Plant in average, well-drained soil. Space 4–5 feet apart. Water thoroughly after planting and mulch lightly.

Water regularly after planting; once established it tolerates moderate drought. Prune by removing one-third of the oldest canes at the base immediately after the main spring flowering flush. Fertilize lightly in early spring. Sonic Bloom® weigelas bloom abundantly in spring and then rebloom reliably throughout the summer and fall. Pure Pink produces vivid, clear, pure pink tubular flowers- a classic, cheerful color outstanding against the dark green foliage. Highly attractive to hummingbirds. Largely pest-free.
